Review: Maybelline Falsies Mascara

With all the hype around this mascara I figured I had to give it a go. It claimed to give a false lash effect without the hassle of using false lashes. When I first bought this mascara I absolutely hated it. I think we just got off on the wrong foot. It was so wet and liquidy when I first used it and I don’t like that in mascaras. It got everywhere! I had mascara all over my eyeshadow and eyeliner. I put the mascara away and swore never to use it again. But two weeks later I decided to give it another chance. The results were a lot better than the last time. The mascara formula got a bit dryer so it became and easier to work with. The results were volumizing and black. However it did give a very clumpy look. I am not usually one for clumpy lashes but that mascara did live it to its claims and produced a false lash effect. I recommend this mascara to anyone who enjoys clumpy doll like lashes. And for anyone who got off on the wrong foot with this mascara like I strongly encourage you to try it again. You just may like it.
