I am a huge fan of Marc Jacobs fragrances, so naturally I was very excited to find out about his new 2012 Tropical Splash collection. He is releasing two new Splash fragrances, Hibiscus and Kumquat, both created by noted perfumer Richard Herpin and the third scent of this collection, created by Laurent Le Guernec called Rain is back by popular demand. All packaged in compact sleek bottles, downsized from the oversized 10 oz. bottles to 3.4 oz mini bottles each retailing for $49!
Rain is a cool refreshing floral which evokes sensations of a summer downpour with notes of wild strawberries, cypress, clementine, white orchid, passion flower, and sunflower, with a base of sensual musk, amber, teak, and tree moss.
Kumquat is a fizzy citrus floral, a fun refreshing, sunny, and carefree fragrances. The fragrance is composed of notes of tangerine, bergamot, orange, kumquat, tiger orchid, and jasmine, with a base of musk, blond woods, and cedar.
Hibiscus is a sultry exotic fruity floral with notes of raspberry, mandarin, pink peony. tropical hibiscus flowers, pink freesia, and tiara, with a base of exotic woods, vetiver, and musk.
All these fragrances sound absolutely delicious and look forward to trying them this spring!
